Paul W. Pasche joined KOD with nearly 30 years of experience litigating Illinois workers’ compensation, civil, and appellate cases, as well as social security disability and Medicare compliance matters for employers, insurers, and civil defendants. In addition to preparing Medicare set-asides for workers’ compensation and liability matters, Paul provides the following Medicare compliance services to clients nationwide: beneficiary status checks, conditional payments investigation and resolution, future medical cost projections, medical records investigation and review, legal support for outside vendors, settlement document review and preparation, and development of legal strategies to reduce defense exposure for Medicare issues. Paul has represented clients before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, Illinois Circuit and Appellate Courts, the Illinois Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the Social Security Administration, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. He also frequently shares his expertise in presentations for bar associations, professional organizations, clients, and civic groups. When off duty, Paul enjoys travel, playing his guitar, and singing baritone with the vocal group Chicagoland Voices. Paul also serves on several boards with his local church.
